The Mom & Caregiver Magazine NEW Photo Contest

In the past, we were thrilled and amazed at the community's response to our Mom & Caregiver Calendar Contests, which had raised more than $24,000.00 to benefit Children's Hospital.

In 2006, my husband and I joyfully experienced a Captured Moment of our own – the safe arrival of our son, Mikaeel Ekram. Mikaeel was born at St. Joseph's Hospital, measuring in at 20 inches and weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces.

As we entered a new phase in our lives – the long-awaited journey into parenthood – we knew we could not continue to put in the hundreds of hours it takes to create another calendar of this caliber. After all, we have our own adorable bundle to cater to…but we loved receiving all those photos and inspirational stories!

Since the launch of the new format for the contest, the response has been overwhelming! The support and understanding of our readership has definitely contributed to the success of the contest…and I was able to share more time with my son in his first year of life.

This Year’s Contest

Once again, we are looking for amateur photos of your little darlings (from birth to age ten). Winners will be professionally photographed to become our new "cover kids" for the monthly editions of The Mom & Caregiver Magazine.

We will not be producing a calendar – and this is NOT a charity fundraiser.

There has been tremendous interest from families to continue the contest, so we are doing it the best way we can that fits with our growing family.
